Research websites of independent fashion designers

Today I research more than three fashion designers' websites. The first one is Zhipeng Zhou's website.

                                Zhipeng Zhou (https://www.zhipengzhou.com)

This is Zhipeng Zhou's home page. I can see the background is dark blue with many flashing light, and there do not write any information and introduction, which just have a heading and simple layout with navigation image to show his work.

 This is his about page. There have his brief introduction about himself, and he put contact information on the right of this page include email and mobile phone number. He just put his photo on the navigation image, and didn't put it in about page. Therefore this page looks too simple.

                                       

This is his gallery page, This page can slide and show many his portfolios and designs.User can navigate through the pages with they mouse  or simply use the arrow keys.

At the same time, User can click different portfolio picture with mouse, then they can browse his different work from different theme and get more details.

To sum up, this is a good website design. It looks simple and clear, user can quickly understand his idea and his work, but it can be improve about his home page and gallery page. It would be better if he wrote brief introduction and detail.

The second one, I researched Minjun Kim's website.

This is Minjun Kim's home page, user can see  he chose one of his sportswear design as a background meanwhile he wrote welcome sign. Ii is very good UE. User can feel his passion and know he good at sportswear design.

This is his resume page, he wrote more information than Zhipeng Zhou's about page. User can learn more about him, such as his personal experience, how many awards he get, how many language he can speak  and how many skills he can use. It is very useful information, can help he get a good job.

This is his project project page. It show three different project for user, and each project all have detailed introduction and design process. this is beneficial to user to know his idea and ability.

This is his contact page. It have three different social media links, mobile phone number and his email. The contact details are very detailed.

In general, it is a very professional and complete website design. He use his own design as a background is better tan use other pictures as a background, but his home page use a lot of deferent colors, user maybe will feel confuse.

                                           SUANK K(http://www.suan-k.com)

This is Suank's website home page. In this page just show user a video for SUAN K AUTUMN WINTER 2017 / LCFMA17. This is a short video just 1 minute that show user a professional fashion show, but the light is dark include video and website background as well as font color. This website style is very personal, but user almost could not see the navigation of the website and other information.

This is his gallery page. There show a lot of his design shoot at the fashion show. It appear very atmosphere, but he did not wrote any introduction about this design.

                       His contact page is too simple, just link to his email.

This is his information page, he just wrote three sentence in English and Korean respectively are " clothing and fears", "illusions caused by anxiety ", and "your private therapy". Having the text nice and large makes it appear very bold, but font color is confused with the background color, and it is very thin typeface, it come out looking unsharp.

In summary, it is a unique and personalized website design. In website design, we can add more element that will make it unique and stand out from the crowd, but also the user experience need more attention, such as self-introductio and font color.

 This is Abigail's home page of website. There have clear font, background and website navigation meanwhile she wrote self-introduction. She use less color and three different typeface to design a beautiful simple website, and background picture use her own design.

Then her gallery page show user a clear inspiration board include her initial idea , develop design and brief introduction. User can change picture with the mouse and move it.

Next is her about page. She wrote many information about herself and put social media links in two small icon. At the same time users can find more information in the search box if they want.

Finally, in her contact page user can email her or still follow her social media. It is a very clear and simple page, didn't have many color and image, user can easy get useful information.

In conclusion, it is thought that this is the one of best website design, because it layout design is clear, background  and font are easy to read. Each page have consistency, users can easy to perceive her design.

Reflection

I supposed the best website design is Abigail's Web design. I love her layout design that is clear and orderliness . Her gallery page design has her own style and fascinating, such as she created very professional illustration board and marries theme and style well.When I open her Web page ,the background is attractive, I can know she is a fashion designer at first time. Her design drive my imagination, and I want to make my website more clear and write more introduction to introduce my work.
