7.3 Designing process

• Step 1. This is my flat plan. I used Homebyme to design a standard student apartment studio.

• Step 2. I put three windows into these room. Bright windows with natural light and view.

• Step 3. I placed a double bed in the bedroom. In order to fit the storage space, I placed three cabinets.

• Step 4. In the study area, I placed desks, chairs and a small bookshelf, and an easel.

• Step 5. I designed the kitchen with a kitchen type of semi-open kitchen and equipped with a small dining table and chairs.

• Step 6. This is the ultimate effect of the whole room including bathroom, lighting and decorations.

Due to my original design was to design a female room, so the wallpaper was chosen to be pink and the floor was beige. The furniture is retro style, next to the closet with a small dresser. There is a locker next to the corridor, including a shoe cabinet. The whole room a total of four mirrors, including a whole body mirror. The color of the wallpaper can be changed, and each room can have different colors of wallpaper to meet the different character of the students. As for the furniture, are unified and comfortable double bed. Semi-open kitchen and a separate bathroom.
